Birthday Song expresses my sentiment towards being in the limelight during the birthday song. The overwhelming anxiety-inducing awkwardness, dread of being at the centre of attention, and still having to maintain the facade of enjoyment. It is and always has been my least favourite part of birthdays, though I still appreciate the sentiments behind it.
