2 Strands: Studio Project 3 (Environment Design and Modelling)

2 Strands is a story about a cunning pigeon taking full advantage of the protagonist's soft-heartedness with it's cute appearance. The project requirement was for us to render out an animatic for a story revolving around 1 3D character and 1 2D character, in a 3D setting within 2 weeks, among groups of 5.
As the leader of the group, I was responsible for managing our group and coming up with reasonable schedules well within each member's reach, without compromising on the deadline. While I primarily specialise in 2D, my firm foundation in 3D was able to come into play due to the large number of assets and 3D workflow that was involved in the production. Was also in charge of environment visual development, editing, sound effects and music, animatics; participated in modelling of assets (palm tree, tables, the hawker centre roof and front), retouching, posing of 3D character rig, camera placement. We were able to fulfill our deadline manageably even when a conflict surfaced 2 days before the deadline that caught us off guard, thanks to how reliable everyone was and good time management. (It was a problem with the renders) It was a fun and very enriching experience.
